As our new Financial Controller, you’re here to fuel the fire. You’ll contribute to our mission by becoming the finance owner of the full journey from production cost to net profit, building the methodologies, models and processes that give the business a reliable, granular view of profitability by product, channel and country.
Your kick-ass responsibilities:

Drive the finance transformation roadmap together with the CFO and the Business Controller: planning, stakeholder alignment and delivery
Implement standard costing for COGS and logistics, fine-tuning the methodology, configuring the ERP (Odoo), documenting, training and rolling it out across teams
Turn new models into robust monthly processes adopted by operations, supply chain and commercial teams
Own product costing end to end: bills of material, production and logistics cost rates, cost updates and revisions
Build and maintain the margin ladder by SKU, channel and country, from GM1 down to net profit, and explain variances versus standard and budget
Act as finance business partner to operations and supply chain on sourcing, co-packing and efficiency decisions
Own inventory valuation and its reconciliation between physical, operational and accounting views, and manage obsolescence and slow-mover provisioning
Translate the production and supply plan (S&OP) into purchasing, working-capital and cash-flow forecasts, feeding the budget and forecast cycles down to net profit
Deliver margin, cost and profitability analysis as part of the monthly close, working closely with the Chief Accountant, and keep raising the quality, speed and automation of that cycle

Your profile

We don't do "ordinary." We’re looking for a specific kind of energy. Are you someone who…

Has the right foundation with 5 to 8 years of experience in controlling, including meaningful exposure to production, supply chain or industrial controlling in a physical-product environment (food & beverage or FMCG is a strong plus)?
Brings a solid dose of hands-on standard costing experience, having implemented or operated BOM-based cost models and analysed price, usage, volume and mix variances, not just consumed the output?
Possesses those ERP fluency, advanced Excel and financial modelling skills to take things to the next level?
Is a natural, pragmatic problem-solver who’s at ease with ambiguity and equally rigorous in running the recurring monthly cycle?
Speaks English fluently? (Dutch or French is a major plus!)
Works independently, hunts for opportunities, and doesn't wait for permission to take initiative?
Is a true team player who loves collaborating across the CFO, Business Controller, Operations and Supply Chain?
Comfortable owning the cost side of the P&L end to end, from COGS and logistics through to net profit, while partnering closely with the Business Controller on the commercial side?
